| As I am just considering starting this course as an alternative to the BCS course, has anyone else taught it previously? What is the success rate? Would anyone like to start a group to exchange resources and ideas? |

| We are about to complete our first cohort through the OCR after switching from BCS. So far the experience from the point of view of both staff and students has been extremely positive and a very positive change. We're just awaiting our first moderator visit to confirm our belief that the results will reflect the change in opinion in the subjects style. |

| I will be offereing the national award this year as part of trial for the course, does anybody reccomend any unit which will include a lot of practicle work for the pupils? Also are there any useful websites with useful resources? |

I am doing unit 4 Communication. There is lots to do in this and it is nearly all practical. There are 2 exemplar portfolios on the OCR website for this too.
Fancy swapping any materials? I am using 2 text books currently. One is quite old but managed to buy it for 1p from Amazon! |
