OCR Nationals Level 2 Introduction
OCR Level 2 Nationals are suited to 14 -16 year olds thinking of leaving school, but especially those who are not quite sure what path they would like their career to take.
If they see their skills and interests as suited to one of the nine industry sectors covered, an OCR Level 2 National allows them to make a broad sector choice without necessarily needing to specialise in one particular area.
It will provide the skills, knowledge and understanding needed to start work, or progress to further study and is therefore equally suited to individuals aged 16+.
All OCR Nationals also help students develop their personal skills in areas applicable to any workplace, such as team working, communication and problem solving. The courses have been designed to accredit learners' achievements and ability to carry out tasks in a way that is relevant to the workplace.
